Our mission at Trinity Empowerment Consortium is to empower low- to moderate-income families through education, counseling, and financial coaching—helping potential buyers achieve homeownership, supporting current homeowners in retaining their homes, and fostering long-term wealth creation within the communities we serve.
Our Values
Trinity Empowerment Consortium was founded in recognition of the truth expressed in Hosea 4:6: “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” Guided by this awareness, we are deeply committed to community development through education and empowerment. While not affiliated with any faith, our values are rooted in timeless Christian principles—Integrity, Collaboration, and Action—which shape everything we do.

Senior Certified Housing Counselor
Freddy McCormack is a Senior Counselor and HUD Certified Housing Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the Real Estate and Mortgage Industry as an agent. A native of Panama, Freddy facilitates our Group Education classes. He can provide service in English y en Español.
Kraig J Owanikin
Administrative Staff
Kraig J Owanikin is a HUD Certified Housing Counselor and Certified Credit Counselor who has been working in both the nonprofit and the real estate industry for over five years. He is an active member of the Miami-Dade community, mentoring and developing youth through various community organizations including Trinity.

Candy Soumah is a bilingual member of our team working primarily as an Intake Counselor. She makes sure our clients get the services they need, and are positioned to take advantage of our community and real estate partnerships and can provide service in English y en Español.
